Saying goodbye is never easy, right? And today, we’re saying our farewells to our amazing video producer Zion Grassl, who’s moving on from our humble abode at Nintendo Life to explore new horizons. Zion became part of our family back in 2019, bringing a surge of growth to our YouTube channel as we delved into the realm of the Nintendo Switch. His love and excitement for all things Nintendo really resonated with our audience, and it’s tough to see him leave.
During his time with us, Zion crafted some truly remarkable videos that left a lasting impact. From the daring ‘I Tried 3DS StreetPass For 365 Days’ to the in-depth ‘The MOTHER We Share’ documentary, and even the quirky ‘I Bought 100 Copies of Mario Paint for the Art’, his creativity knew no bounds. The value he added to our channel is immeasurable, and we have no doubt that he’ll continue to shine wherever he goes next.
On a more personal note, I (yes, it’s me, Ollie) want to express my gratitude for Zion’s friendship throughout the years. His presence during my first venture to LA for Summer Game Fest brought me immense comfort and made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable. Zion is truly one of the kindest and most uplifting souls you’ll ever come across, and I’m honored to have him as a friend. So, from me and the entire Nintendo Life crew, we wish Zion all the best in his future endeavors. If you want to keep up with his adventures, you can find him on social media under the handle @ZionDood. And while we’ll miss him dearly, we’ll continue to support Alex and Felix as they work their magic over on our YouTube Channel. Love you, Zion!
In the grand scheme of things, Zion’s departure marks a bittersweet moment for all of us here at Nintendo Life. His impact on our channel has been nothing short of amazing, and we can’t help but feel a tinge of sadness as we bid him farewell. But as they say, all good things must come to an end, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for him. So, as we raise our glasses to Zion and wish him the best of luck, let’s also take a moment to appreciate the memories he’s created and the joy he’s brought to our community. Here’s to you, Zion!
