One dedicated Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket player, known as ‘Weens4Life’, recently shared their experience of collecting every card in the game. It cost them a total of $1,500 USD to unlock all the cards, with completing the “base card dex” alone costing around $200. They had to open a whopping 1741 packs and collect 8582 cards to achieve this feat. Surprisingly, they did not receive a single God pack filled with rare cards throughout their journey.

The player mentioned that there was no specific reward for completing the collection, and the most challenging part was acquiring the final 3 full art cards – Venasaur, Gengar, and Machamp. Full art Machamp turned out to be their final card, and they reached level 47 in the game after obtaining it. Despite the significant investment of time and money, the player stated that they would not be attempting such a feat again.

It’s important to note that the cost of completing the Pokédex in TCG Pocket can vary for each player due to the random nature of card drops. While the game offers free packs daily and additional ways to unlock more cards without spending money, the odds in these types of mobile gacha games can often be challenging for players.

Furthermore, this is just the beginning for TCG Pocket on mobile devices, with the development team planning to release more booster packs in the future. The game has already seen massive success since its launch, generating over $120 million within a month of its release.
