Spooky season is here, and that means the movie theaters are jam-packed with horror movies. This year, more big names are diving into the genre than ever before, proving that horror is a surefire way to fill those theater seats. From Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein to Ethan Hawke in Black Phone 2, Keira Knightley in The Woman in Cabin 10, and Justin Long and Kate Bosworth in Coyotes, the lineup is looking pretty scary. And there are plenty more to choose from, so we’ve rounded up the trailers for all the scariest upcoming horror movies in October.
Good Boy, Bone Lake, and Coyotes are all out today, October 3, offering a variety of scares and thrills. Dakota Fanning stars in Vicious on October 10, while Kiera Knightley leads The Woman in Cabin 10 on Netflix. Black Phone 2 hits theaters on October 17, following Ethan Hawke as he faces off against a terrifying enemy. Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein also premieres on October 17, promising a gothic and faithful interpretation of Shelley’s classic novel.
