Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 are hitting the Switch tomorrow, and just in the nick of time, Nintendo drops a patch to bump the game up to Version 1.2.0. The patch notes, according to Nintendo Everything, aren’t super detailed, but they do cover both the regular Switch version and the Switch 2.
The rundown of updates for Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 on Switch includes fixes and adjustments to enhance the gameplay experience on both the regular Switch and Switch 2. Some issues have been ironed out to ensure a smooth gaming experience on the Switch 2. Pretty vague, as always! But hey, at least they’re trying to smooth out some minor issues. The games are already playable at 4k resolution when docked and 1080p in handheld mode, so any little update is welcome.
