Update [Fri 25th Apr 2025, 3:30am]: So, like, Capcom dropped some new footage of Street Fighter 6’s new gal Elena. They said she’s coming out with the Switch 2 launch on June 5th, 2025. The trailer shows off her moves and confirms she’s bringing back her healing powers. According to Capcom, “Elena can heal herself if she’s feeling low on energy. Pretty cool, right?”

Original Story: [Fri 11th Apr, 2025 00:45 BST] Last week, Capcom said Street Fighter 6 is coming to Switch 2. Now they’re saying Elena, a character from Street Fighter III, will be joining the game on the same day it drops on Switch 2, June 5th, 2025. She’ll be playable in all the modes, like World Tour and stuff.

This lines up with the Switch 2 launch, which is good news for Nintendo fans. The Switch 2 version includes all characters and stages from Year 1 and Year 2. Here’s the full list of characters you’ll get in Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2:

Street Fighter 6 on Switch will have cross-platform play at 60fps. There are new modes like Gyro Battle and Calorie Contest. In Gyro Battle, you use gyro controls, and in Calorie Contest, you burn calories with the Joy-Con 2. Seems like a workout!
