Sega has revealed its lineup for Gamescom 2024, which will be held in Germany. The highlight of the lineup is the upcoming release of Sonic X Shadow Generations in October 2024. This game will be playable for the first time in Europe, along with the debut of the Atlus fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Fans can also look forward to the global premiere of an unannounced project from Sega. More information about this project will be shared on Sega’s social channels in the coming weeks. The unannounced project will be added to the list of playable titles at the Sega stand during Gamescom.
Sonic X Shadow Generations will offer players the choice between Shadow the Hedgehog’s new story campaign or Sonic the Hedgehog’s adventure. Sonic himself will make an appearance at the event, allowing fans to take photos with him. Additionally, a custom-built Shadow-inspired motorcycle will be on display for fans to see.
Gamescom will begin with Opening Night Live on August 20th and will continue until August 25th. Keep an eye out for more updates on Sega’s lineup and announcements during the event.
