So, like, have you ever seen those awesome fan recreations of the Grand Theft Auto trailers in older games? It’s a total blast to watch, trust me. Anyway, after Rockstar dropped the second trailer for GTA 6 and announced that the game was delayed until 2026 (ugh, the agony!), you just knew someone was gonna recreate it in an older GTA game. And guess what? Foosmoke totally nailed it by using mostly GTA San Andreas to recreate pretty much every single moment from the new GTA 6 trailer. Like, how cool is that?
Foosmoke even threw in some extra details using video editing tricks and bits from Vice City to spice things up a bit, but overall, it’s basically the GTA 6 trailer recreated in San Andreas. And let me tell you, it’s a sight to behold. I mean, Foosmoke also recreated the first GTA 6 trailer as if it were a PS2-era game, and that one was pretty darn awesome too. But Foosmoke wasn’t the only one getting in on the action. Plenty of other fans have taken a crack at recreating the trailers in different games or even in real life. It’s kind of mind-blowing to see how much more realistic Rockstar’s newer GTA games look compared to the older ones. But hey, there’s a charm to those blocky, primitive visuals that just hits you right in the nostalgia feels, you know?
Grand Theft Auto 6 is all set to drop on May 26, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox, and I don’t know about you, but I’m counting down the days. And hey, if you haven’t checked out these fan recreations yet, you’re seriously missing out. It’s like a trip down memory lane with a modern twist. Who knew older games could still be this cool?
