Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 dropped for the Switch recently, and we’ve got some eShop chart data to spill. Which of these games is the talk of the town right now, you ask? Well, it turns out Super Mario Galaxy 2 is stealing the show, sitting pretty at the top of the eShop charts in the US. The OG Super Mario Galaxy isn’t far behind though, landing in third place in the same region, trailing the new release Hades II. And if we’re talking overall Switch purchases on the eShop, the Galaxy duo is still reigning supreme.

Across the pond in the UK and in Japan, the story remains the same. Super Mario Galaxy 2 holds the crown, with the original game claiming the bronze medal. But hey, let’s not forget that this is just a snapshot of three regions. Things might be different in other parts of the world, so don’t jump to conclusions just yet. Plus, remember that the original Super Mario Galaxy was part of the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection in 2020, so many Switch players already got a taste of it last year.

The big question now is, did you snag a physical copy of the game, opt for the digital bundle, or maybe just pick up one of the titles?
