The latest Direct broadcast kicked off with a reveal of the official box art for Mario & Luigi: Brothership for the Switch. While we’ve seen some footage of the game before, this is the first time Nintendo has given us a proper look at the box art. The artwork features Mario, Luigi, a new character named Snoutlet, and a glimpse of the world they will be exploring called Concordia. Fans of the series will also notice a familiar empty background similar to Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey.
The game is now available for pre-order, and Nintendo has also released an official render of Mario in this new adventure. In Mario & Luigi: Brothership, players can expect an island-hopping adventure in Concordia with the help of Shipshape island, which is described as “part ship, part island.” While the developer behind this new entry has not been revealed yet, Nintendo has confirmed that some of the original team members are involved in the project.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership is set to release on the Switch this November. What are your thoughts on the box art for the game? Let us know in the comments below.
