So, like, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound got this new update, right? It’s all about fixing bugs and making gameplay better on Switch 2. The last update focused on improving the frame rate, but this time they’re tackling soft-locks, freezing scenarios, collision issues, and more. Overall, it’s a pretty solid update that players will appreciate.
Boss Fights & Challenges
So, there was this issue where hitting the boss at the edge of the arena in level 4-5 would like, push it out of view. Not cool, right? But now they fixed that. Also, challenges like “Kill boss with a Ragebound Art” in 3-2 or “Win the duel” in 1-1 will actually work now. And they made Rhyvashi encounters better by improving the stagger cooldown and stopping attacks after defeat.
Gameplay Flow & Checkpoints
They fixed a bunch of soft-locks and freezing problems that happened when pausing or restarting from a checkpoint. Checkpoints now heal Kenji properly and respect equipped talismans. And restarting from a checkpoint during boss fights won’t leave the health bar stuck on the screen anymore.
Level-Specific Fixes
They sorted out collision issues where Kenji or Kumori would get stuck or clip through stuff in levels like 3-5, 2-2, and S-5. Environmental hazards like lava and fire now behave properly, and background and asset display problems have been fixed in various levels.
Talismans & Accessibility
They made adjustments to talismans like “Last Stance” and fixed stacking effects between different ones. Accessibility settings for damage, screen shake, and knockback are now consistent across all situations.
Enemies & Animations
Erratic behavior in enemies like Bio Harpies and Flying Turrets has been corrected. They also fixed issues specific to Kumori and improved visual consistency for certain attacks and death animations.
System & Miscellaneous
The application now detects Windows language settings on the first launch instead of defaulting to English. Plus, there have been additional performance and stability improvements throughout the game.
