Nintendo has recently introduced a new mobile app called ‘Nintendo Music’ exclusively for Switch Online members. This app allows users to not only stream but also download a wide range of music tracks from Nintendo’s popular franchises. The app is currently available for both iOS and Android users.
One of the key features of the app is the ability to hide tracks that may contain spoilers for games, as well as the option to loop or extend tracks for uninterrupted listening. Users can also create playlists, search for playlists based on specific characters, and choose from featured playlists based on their mood.
The app includes music from both new releases and classic games, with franchises like Splatoon, Zelda, Metroid, Mario, Pokémon, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Fire Emblem, and more being highlighted in the debut trailer. Nintendo plans to add more music to the app in the future.
In a way, ‘Nintendo Music’ can be seen as Nintendo’s version of Spotify, offering a unique music streaming experience for Switch Online members. The app is currently available in North America, the UK, Europe, and Japan, and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the Apple iOS App Store.
