2K has revealed the latest information about the upcoming NBA 2K25 game. The game will have three different cover stars featured on four distinct covers, depending on the edition you choose. Along with unveiling the cover art, 2K has also shared some screenshots and general details about the improvements players can anticipate.
The main cover star for NBA 2K25 is Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics. Tatum, a 26-year-old forward, has an impressive resume, including being a five-time All-Star, winning a Gold Medal at the 2020 Olympic Games, and recently securing his first NBA Championship. Tatum will be on the cover of the NBA 2K25 Standard Edition.
On the other hand, the WNBA Edition of NBA 2K25 will feature A’ja Wilson from the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson has won back-to-back championships with the Aces, received the Finals MVP award for the 2023 Championship, and is a two-time WNBA MVP and a six-time All-Star. She will also represent the U.S. at the 2024 Olympic Games alongside Tatum. Together, Tatum and Wilson are the cover stars of the NBA 2K25 All-Star Edition.
The final cover athlete for NBA 2K25 is Vince Carter, a recent Hall of Fame inductee, eight-time NBA All-Star, and winner of the 2000 NBA Dunk Contest. Carter will be featured on the NBA 2K25 Hall of Fame Edition cover.
This year’s NBA 2K25 will bring back the MyCareer mode with updates and introduce new MyTeam modes. Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and compatible PCs can expect a sixth era in MyNBA, a more interactive City, and the return of The W mode focused on women’s basketball. Crossplay will also be available on the newer-gen versions.
