Playground Games, the developer behind Forza Horizon 5, has exciting news for fans of the game. The next wave of content will feature cutting-edge cars that players can drive around Mexico. Among the new vehicles are the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, 2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, 2021 Toyota GR Yaris, 2023 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Turbo S, and 2023 Kia EV6 GT. While these cars are impressive, the real highlight of the upcoming releases is the addition of iconic vehicles from popular Universal Studios films and TV shows.
Launching tomorrow, the Universal Icons Car Pack will include famous cars like KITT from Knight Rider, the 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Jurassic Park, and different versions of the Delorean Time Machine from each film in the Back to the Future trilogy. The Delorean Time Machines will feature unique looks and special visual effects that activate when the car reaches 88 miles per hour. The Jurassic Park Wrangler will sport the park’s logo and the signature color scheme from the movie, while KITT will come with a body kit that includes the Super Pursuit Mode.
Forza Horizon 5 has a history of introducing licensed vehicles from popular culture. Players can already access the Fast X Car Pack and the Hot Wheels expansion packs. In addition to these vehicles, the latest update will also include 17 EventLab props that players can use to create modern highways and discover a robot collectible in the game world.
