The folks over at Digital Extremes recently shared some exciting news about Warframe. They confirmed that they are working on a version of the game for the Nintendo Switch 2. In a recent livestream, they gave us a sneak peek at the gameplay from this new build. And let me tell you, it looks pretty darn good.

The footage they showed off revealed some significant improvements. Faster load times, better shading quality, and smoother frame rates are just some of the upgrades we can expect. If you skip to the 28-minute mark in the stream, you can see for yourself. Steve Sinclair, the CEO of Digital Extremes, mentioned that load times will be much shorter compared to the current Switch version. He also hinted that the game will run at a silky-smooth 60fps when docked.

As for the release date of the Switch 2 version, well, that’s still up in the air. But as soon as we get more details, you’ll be the first to know. Have you tried playing Warframe on the Switch? Are you excited to give it a go on the Switch 2? Let us know in the comments below.
