EVO Japan is going down this weekend, and some game news has already popped up. A fresh crossover between Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 and Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 is on the horizon.
Blizzard spilled the beans on this collab during day one of the event. The deal is that characters from Street Fighter 6 will step into the Overwatch 2 universe, complete with new skins and their signature moves.
This shindig kicks off in Overwatch 2 on May 20, 2025. Here’s the lowdown on the character crossovers you can look forward to seeing (thanks to EventHubs):
• Hanzo teams up with Ryu
• Juno hangs out with Chun-Li
• Kiriko buddies up with Juri
• Widowmaker pairs with Cammy
• Zenyatta joins forces with Dhalsim
• Soldier: 76 buddies up with Guile
• Winston chills with Blanka
• Sigma teams up with M. Bison
You can catch all the EVO Japan action live on Twitch and YouTube this weekend. Overwatch 2 is up for grabs as a free-to-play title on the Switch, while Street Fighter 6 is set to launch for Switch 2 on June 5, 2025.
