Don’t Nod Entertainment, the developer behind the popular Life is Strange series, has announced a delay in the release of its upcoming game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. Originally scheduled for late 2024, the game will now be released in early 2025. The reason for the delay is to give their other game, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, some room to shine when it launches later this year.
This decision was made to ensure that both Lost Records and the new Life is Strange game have the opportunity to be successful without competing with each other. The studio wants to make sure that both games have enough space to be appreciated by players. While the delay may be disappointing for fans who were eagerly anticipating the release of Lost Records, Don’t Nod Entertainment believes that the wait will be worth it in the end.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure is set to launch on October 29, while Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be released in two parts sometime in early 2025.
