In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the prisons in Hyrule have some serious issues that need to be addressed. As a journalist who recently played the game, I couldn’t help but notice how easily our hero, Link, managed to escape from his cell due to the lack of proper security measures.

For starters, if there is a hole in the cell wall, it should be filled in immediately. In some instances, there were holes in the walls and floors that made it incredibly easy for Link to escape. It’s important for the authorities in Hyrule to ensure that their prisons are secure and not riddled with obvious escape routes.

In games like Twilight Princess and A Link Between Worlds, we see similar issues with the prisons in Hyrule. The lack of proper security measures, such as locking doors and hiding switches, makes it too easy for prisoners to escape. In one instance, a simple wooden crate was all that stood between Link and freedom.

Even in Ocarina of Time, where the Gerudo seem to have a better handle on prison security, there are still glaring oversights like open windows and accessible overhangs. It’s clear that Hyrule’s prison system needs a serious overhaul to prevent future escapes and ensure the safety of the kingdom.

As a fan of the Zelda series, I can’t help but wonder what other prison escape routes await in future games. It’s important for developers to pay attention to these details and create more challenging and realistic prison scenarios for players to navigate.

What do you think about the state of Hyrule’s prisons in the Zelda games? Do you have a favorite prison escape route from the series? Let me know in the comments.
