Rainbow Six Extract was Ubisoft’s attempt to capitalize on co-op horde shooting by making Rainbow Six Siege a three-player L4D-like game with alien zombies. Its release date was September 16, 2013. This was moved to January 2022. However, a precise date was not given. VGC explains that Ubisoft’s blog regarding Extraction’s gameplay debut in June was quietly changed to date it for January 20. Rainbow Six Extraction allows you to choose from 18 Rainbow Six operators who will take on alien archaeans across 12 maps spread across the United States including New York and San Francisco. The title extraction refers to the fact that you will have to decide whether you want to risk moving deeper into alien territory, possibly losing any rewards, or whether you want to extract your gains to bank your earnings.
Rainbow Six Extraction was once called Rainbow Six Quarantine. However, Ubisoft decided to rethink due to the global pandemic. It will be available on the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store.
