The latest update for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is now available on the Nintendo Switch, bringing a host of fixes and improvements to enhance your gaming experience. Digital Eclipse’s head of production, Stephen Frost, has confirmed that the “online” patch has been submitted to Nintendo and more updates will follow in the New Year.
Brawler Gameplay Enhancements
The update includes various refinements based on player feedback, such as increased movement speed for all Rangers, improved grab and grab attack speed, and the ability to perform the Dodge move without cooldown. Additionally, Rangers can now chain Rising Strike from more states, dodge while holding an enemy, and benefit from a boosted Special after a successful Dodge.
Zord & Megazord Improvements
Changes to Zord and Megazord gameplay include reduced machine gun fire damage, gravity adjustments for easier pit clearing, and health power-ups during Zord boss battles. The update also balances encounter difficulties with Harvester encounters and Megazord boss battles.
Online Features
For online players who have unlocked Green Ranger, there’s now an option to start the game from any level. Successful matchmaking requires all players to have the latest update for the game.
General Updates
Other general improvements include enhanced stability, performance enhancements, and bug fixes specific to the PS5 platform. The development team is grateful for player feedback and plans to introduce more updates in the coming weeks to further enhance the gameplay experience.
