Hello everyone, welcome to another exciting edition of Box Art Brawl! Last time, we compared the box art for Kirby’s Pinball Land for the Game Boy, with Japan ultimately winning the vote. Today, we’re looking at Gargoyle’s Quest II: The Demon Darkness from Capcom, released on the NES in 1992.

This week, Europe and North America face off against Japan once again. The Western box art for Gargoyle’s Quest II is bold and vibrant, capturing a demonic and apocalyptic feel while still maintaining a playful tone. On the other hand, Japan’s version is more cartoonish and features a variety of characters and monsters, with a striking logo and a simple red border framing the image.

Don’t forget to cast your vote in the poll below to choose your favorite box art! And stay tuned for the results in our next Box Art Brawl. Thank you for participating, and we look forward to seeing you next time for more box art showdowns.
