The weekend is finally here! Before we get into what games we’re diving into, let’s take a quick look back at the week. Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Switch got a glowing review, so make sure to give that a read. Nightdive Studios also announced another remaster for consoles, and the Switch 2 got an important stability update.

Sadly, our friend Zion has moved on to a new role, leaving us both sad and happy for him. Don’t forget to say your goodbyes if you haven’t already! Now, let’s see what the team has planned for their gaming adventures this weekend.

This weekend, I’ll be diving back into Star Wars Outlaws, especially after the recent update. Final Fantasy Tactics and UFO 50 are also on my radar, giving me a little nudge every time I start up my Switch. Maybe I’ll finally tackle The Last Guardian, which has been sitting under my TV for ages. And who knows, I might just spend the weekend binging on YouTube videos featuring our beloved Zion.

I’m off to Paris this weekend, so my Switch time will be limited. But I’ll be immersing myself in Hades II, which may or may not be all about love, but hey, Aphrodite is in it, so close enough. I’m just getting started with the roguelike runs, but I’m excited to see where this adventure takes me. Death to Chronos, right?

I’ll be diving into Gearbits, a mech game I missed last week, and hopefully finish all the missions before Monday hits. Hades II progress continues, and I hope to revisit the Mario Galaxies for some nostalgia. UFO 50 progress report: 26 games down, 24 to go. Caramel Caramel is a standout, but Porgy is giving me a run for my money. And of course, my game of the week is Star Wars Outlaws.

As for me, not really sure why this matters, but I’ll probably spend the weekend playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 because, well, it’s a classic. Maybe I’ll squeeze in some Hades II, but I’ll see how I feel. Final Fantasy Tactics is also calling my name, but I’ll likely stick to the familiar with Galaxy 2. And hey, who knows, maybe I’ll finally start The Last Guardian that’s been gathering dust.

So, that’s what we’ve got planned for the weekend, but what about you? Let us know your gaming picks in the poll below. Enjoy your weekend, folks!
