So, like, the folks over at Inti Creates have gone and dropped a demo for their new 2D action game Majogami on the Switch 2 and the good ol’ regular Switch. You can totally check it out now, if that’s your kinda thing.

In some news that dropped yesterday, Inti Creates has confirmed that the Azure Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced is getting released worldwide. But that’s not all, folks! They’ve also spilled the tea on their 30th-anniversary project, Majogami, which is set to hit the Switch and Switch 2 on October 30, 2025. It’s being described as a fresh paper craft “2D action experience”. Check out the official premiere video above, and then read on for some PR stuff.

The game follows this girl named Shiroha who has to deal with a pretty messed up situation – her dad got turned into paper. Like, seriously? Anyway, she’s armed with her katana, “Kamikiri”, and she’s gotta slice her way through all kinds of weird stuff in this 2D character action platformer.

So, Shiroha is the main character and she’s got this cool ability called “Setsuna” that lets her move and attack super quickly. She can totally take out enemies without breaking a sweat. Along the way, Shiroha collects these memory cards called Recarte that help her remember stuff. She also has to face off against these Majogami, who are like super powerful witches, as she tries to escape their crazy world. Oh, and she can transform into different fighting forms with the help of guardians she meets. Pretty wild, right?

By taking down these Majogami, Shiroha starts to remember more about her past and her dad’s life. It’s all about family and determination in this twisted world. Majogami will be available digitally on the Switch 2 for $39.99 USD, or you can snag it on the Switch for $34.99. There’s even gonna be a physical release in Japan. Check out the box art above!
