Nintendo Singapore is all about expanding their business and making big moves in Southeast Asia. They recently set up shop in the Republic of Singapore with the launch of Nintendo Singapore Pte. Ltd. on September 26, 2025. The goal? To speed up Nintendo’s growth in the region. Takhiro Miura will be taking charge as the managing director of this new venture.
But wait, there’s more! Nintendo is also eyeing the Kingdom of Thailand for another local entity to boost their business there. This exciting news comes right after the release of the Switch 2, which has been selling like hotcakes. In just under a week, they managed to move a whopping 3.5 million units globally. By the end of the first month, that number had skyrocketed to over 6 million units. That’s some serious gaming power right there!
Now, I’m not really sure why this matters, but it’s worth keeping an eye on these developments. Who knows what kind of gaming magic Nintendo will bring to Southeast Asia next? Let’s stay tuned for more updates on this epic gaming journey.
