Square Enix has finally released the long-awaited Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake on the Switch this week. For those planning to get a physical copy, there are some differences in the box art and game cartridge depending on your region.
In Japan, the physical copy comes with a reversible cover, featuring classic-style artwork of Dragon Quest III on the inside sleeve. On the other hand, the US and European versions have a plain white page filled with legal text. While the box art may not be as cool in the West, the game cartridge itself has more detail compared to the Japanese version, which only features a logo and a blank canvas.
For those interested in the physical copy, the Japanese release offers full English language support, including audio and subtitles. This might be a good option for players who prefer to experience the game in English.
