Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is a game that brings back the nostalgia of the past with its high-speed action and huge character roster. One of the exciting elements that fans have been looking forward to is the quick-time events (QTEs) known as Impact Actions in the game. While some players may find them challenging, mastering these QTE minigames can give you an edge in battles.

There are four different types of Impact Actions in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, each with its own unique QTE minigame. Understanding how each of these QTEs work is essential for success in the game. Let’s take a closer look at each of them:

1. Speed Impact:
Speed Impact is triggered when you and your opponent use a Dragon Dash against each other. It consists of two stages – Single Strike and Rapid Strike. In the Single Strike stage, you need to stop a shrinking circle as close to the center as possible. In the Rapid Strike stage, you must mash the button prompt to increase your damage. Using the Boost Button (RT/R2) can give you helpful bonuses, but be careful not to overdo it.

2. Power Impact:
Power Impact is activated when both players perform a Throw at close range. You need to fill up a spiral gauge by holding down a button prompt without overloading it. Using the Boost can extend the gauge length and allow you to deliver a heavy finish attack at the end.

3. Crash Impact:
Crash Impact occurs when both players perform a Step at the same time. You need to press the button prompt faster than your opponent to win an exchange. Using the boost button may help with timing, but it’s not necessary.

4. Blast Impact:
Blast Impact happens when both players shoot off a ranged Blast attack. You need to convert the charging gauge into energy by pressing the prompt next to it. You can either mash the button quickly or let the gauge fill up before pressing it. Using the boost can extend the gauge length, but it’s not required for the first method.

Each of these Impact Actions requires practice and timing to master. While they may not always result in significant damage, they can set you up for follow-up combos and improve your overall gameplay experience. Whether you’re playing online or engaging in tough battles, understanding and mastering these QTEs can make a difference in your performance. So, get ready to level up your skills and dominate the battlefield in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero!
