Last night, the partnership between Are Media’s ELLE Australia and MG Motor Australia was in the spotlight as Australia’s up-and-coming creative talent gathered at Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal for the launch of the new MG3 during Vivid.

Comedian, actress, and content creator Millie Ford hosted the glamorous MG3 launch event, which saw 350 young Australian creatives from various fields such as acting, music, beauty, fashion, and design come together. Collectively, the attendees have a social media reach of over 20 million people.

During the event, ELLE Australia recognized six rising stars:

• The Style Star: Stylist, consultant, and influencer Violet Grace Atkinson
• The Future of Beauty: Makeup artist Sean Brady
• The Trailblazer: Actor and singer Ayesha Madon
• The Modern Icon: Podcaster and author Flex Mami
• The Next Big Thing: Actor Mel Jarnson
• The Game Changer: Diversity and equality advocate, author, and actor Maria Thattil

The evening also marked the official launch of the all-new MG3 in Australia and New Zealand. Available in Hybrid+ and MG3 (petrol) variants, with Excite and Essence grade options, the latest MG3 features a range of high-specification features and enhancements. These include a new platform, redesigned exterior and interior, superior performance, reduced CO2 emissions, and improved fuel economy. The introduction of a new 1.5-litre Hybrid+ four-cylinder engine that charges while driving is at the core of these advancements.

Key figures in attendance included MG Motor Australia CEO Peter Ciao, Pip Edwards, Moana Hope, David and Libby Koch, Hannah Diviney, Jessica Rowe, Jordan and Zac Stenmark, and Are Media general manager of Fashion and Beauty Nicky Briger.

The MG3 launch event is part of a comprehensive marketing campaign developed by MG, Are Media, and Joy Agency. The campaign includes public relations initiatives, influencer marketing, social content, podcasts, and features in ELLE digital and editorial content from the event in the September issue.

According to Jennifer Gulliver, senior marketing portfolio manager for MG Motor Australia, the new MG3 and MG3 Hybrid+ offer exceptional value. The MG3, known for its practicality and aesthetics, now appeals to a wider audience. Gulliver highlighted the vehicle’s premium features, efficiency, and affordability.

Are Media’s Nicky Briger expressed pride in collaborating with MG to celebrate the next generation MG3 and Australia’s creative talent. ELLE Australia editor Grace O’Neill emphasized the magazine’s commitment to showcasing emerging talent across various creative industries.

The event was a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation in shaping the future cultural landscape. MG and ELLE Australia’s partnership is a celebration of young creativity and auto innovation, setting the stage for the next generation of Australian culture and creativity.
