A shooting near Temple University in Philadelphia has left five people injured on Wednesday, two in extremely critical condition. University police have arrested the suspect in the shooting, a university spokesperson told WPVI-TV.
The victims are three women, aged 20 and 21, and two men, aged 28 and 59, the station reports. The university believes that neither was a student at the center.
The 28-year-old man was shot 14 times and is in extremely critical condition at an area hospital.
Capt. John Walker of the Philadelphia Police has stated that the five people who were shot are in critical condition.
The motives for the shooting, which took place around 8:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, are unknown at the moment.
