A shiny new trailer has been released for the Destiny 2 event Solstice of Heroes

A new trailer has been released for Destiny 2’s “Solstice of Heroes” event, which will take place from July 6 through August 3.

In the video’s description, Bungie shares their thoughts about the event.

“The Last City of humanity was built not out of iron and stone but from heroism, bravery, and heroism. Be a Guardian and remember all those who defended our home. Eva Levante will be waiting for you at the Tower with words and celebration.

The event’s loot includes class-specific solstice armor, which is covered in glowing patterns. You can also find universal ornaments that match your subclass , as well as “new ships, Sparrows and eye-catching cosmetics.”

Maybe the shining glow of heroism, both in and out, will deter players from cheating. Bungie has been working to solve this problem by hiring a data scientist to study anti-cheat systems and to publicly confront cheaters.
