Sony has recently announced a new Horizon Zero Dawn Lego set in collaboration with the popular toy brick company. This new set, called Aloy & Varl vs. Shell-Walker & Sawtooth, features two main protagonists from the game along with two familiar robot enemies. With 768 pieces, this set is priced at an affordable $45, making it accessible to many fans.

Although the set won’t be available in time for the holidays, with orders starting today, it is set to begin shipping on March 1, 2025. Despite its compact size, the set is packed with details to bring the Horizon Zero Dawn world to life. The robots in the set are designed to be interactive and flexible, with posable joints and various movable parts that mimic action figures.

According to Horizon franchise producer Tim Symons, the Shell-Walker in the set features posable legs and arms, opening claws, a detachable cargo pod, and an energy shield. On the other hand, the Sawtooth boasts opening jaws, a swiveling torso, and posable neck, head, and legs. This attention to detail ensures that fans can recreate epic battles and scenes from the game.

Given the success of the Horizon Zero Dawn franchise, it is likely that Sony and Lego will release more Horizon-themed sets in the future. Fans can expect to see more iconic robots like the Stormbird and potentially even locations like the Carja city of Meridian in Lego form. As Sony continues to expand the franchise with remastered versions and new releases, a multiplayer spin-off is also rumored to be in the works for 2025.

With the upcoming release of Lego Horizon Adventures on PlayStation 5 and Switch, fans can immerse themselves in the world of Horizon Zero Dawn in new and exciting ways. The combination of the Lego sets and video games allows fans to engage with the franchise on different levels, ensuring that Horizon Zero Dawn remains a beloved and enduring part of gaming culture. As the franchise continues to grow, fans can look forward to more exciting collaborations and releases in the future.
