It’s been quite the journey No Man’s Sky took. Players used to scream about Hello Games, but now they rent billboards that say ‘thanks’ and then insert mod Sean Murray’s head into No Man’s Sky in mock-protest of the waiting for the next big thing. It’s time to say goodbye all those locations adorned with an Irishman’s head and welcome the next major update: No Man’s Sky Frontiers, a 6.6GB download.
There were always little things to see around procedurally generated planets in No Man’s Sky. These included monoliths and shelters, observatories as well as wrecked spacecrafts. Sometimes, there was even a small depot or manufacturing facility. There is nothing to convince you to leave your ship there, even if it was for a long time.
