Raquel Villaécija, a journalist from the economy section of EL MUNDO, has been awarded in the fourteenth edition of the Mare Nostrum Awards, an international journalistic recognition dedicated to the promotion of the motorways of the sea in the Mediterranean. The badge was awarded at a gala held last Monday, June 27, at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio in Naples.

Along with Raquel Villaécija, the rest of the winners were: Bartolomé Cánovas Sánchez, Mohamed Hannachi, Massimo Minella, Fabio Pozzo and the students of the Master’s in Journalism at the University of Bari.

The contest is open to journalistic reports, documentaries, television and radio reports, photographic reports and economic/tourist reports produced in Italian, English, Spanish, Catalan, French or Greek and presented by authors residing in Italy, Spain, Greece, Tunisia and Morocco. .
