If you remember the Ocarina of Time mod that added Tears of the Kingdom’s Fuse ability earlier this year, you might be interested in the latest development from modder notCHase. This time, he has brought TOTK’s Fuse ability to Ocarina of Time’s open-source port, Ship of Harkinian. In a demo of the mod, notCHase showcases Link’s ability to fuse various objects to his sword and shield, including signs, trees, enemies, and NPCs.
One highlight of the mod is the use of the Gossip Stone, which, when fused to Link’s shield, propels him across Hyrule Field like a rocket when crouched. It may not be the most elegant solution, but it certainly adds a fun twist to the gameplay. Additionally, notCHase has also implemented the Recall ability in Ocarina of Time, promising more hilarious moments for players.
