Terrible images come from the front in Donbas in the war in Ukraine. A drone captures two Ukrainian soldiers left alone after being surrounded by Russian forces.
In the images it is seen how one of the two is shot in the legs. The other runs to his rescue, as the Russians shoot at them repeatedly. The wounded soldier is treated with a first aid kit supplied to the military. Then, crawling on the ground, he tries to take cover from enemy fire. The other soldier responds to the Russians with shots from his Kalashnikov. But when he tries to drag his comrade away from him, he is shot in turn.
At this point it is the first wounded soldier who tries to help the other comrade, but the effort is in vain. A second bullet hits the soldier and his body begins to burn.
In the final shots, the wounded soldier is no longer seen. He maybe he managed to escape, maybe he was captured by the enemy. But the images remain proof of the extraordinary courage shown by these two soldiers.
