Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is making a comeback in early 2025. The remaster of the 2010 Wii classic will not only feature a visual upgrade but also include all the bonus levels from the 2013 3DS version, bringing the total number of levels to 80. Fans of the Retro Studios platformer can also look forward to the return of local co-op gameplay.

If you can’t wait for the release, Nintendo has added the classic handheld games Donkey Kong Land and Donkey Kong Land 2 to the Switch Online service. Additionally, the new Donkey Kong Country section of Super Nintendo World will open in Japan this December, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Rare’s original SNES Donkey Kong game. It’s an exciting time for fans of the Kongs!
