A cheeky email from an imaginary Xbox exec has people wondering whether Game Pass is teasing People Can Fly’s Outriders is coming into the service.

The official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account is hinting in a new game that’s supposed to hit the service soon, and it appears to be People Can Fly’s third-person shooter Outriders.

According to an email from the fanciful executive vice president lieutenant of general gaming communications”Melissa McGamepass,””that fresh game has been confirmed and is coming to the service” While it does not explicitly say the match’s title, the references to”mysterious signal” and”anomaly” has folks talking about Outriders.

In an Outriders narrative and world reveal from February 2020, a”mysterious sign” is what pushes the superpowered militia group to face off against the”anomaly.” At the close of the Outriders demo, players wind up pursuing a mysterious signal in the distance.

Some people, however, are indicating Batman Arkham Knight. Recent escapes demonstrated that that an Xbox Series X|S enhanced port of this game is in the works, but this remains unconfirmed.

This would not be the first time Xbox Game Pass teased a match coming to the ceremony only for it to finish up there later. The service is filled with all sorts of matches and has new ones regularly, so make sure you check out our roundup of all the available titles on Xbox Game Pass right now.

Outriders launches on April 1 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Collection X|S. Hit up our Outriders preorder manual to find out about what comes with buying early.
