The leader of the Gomera Socialist Association and president of the island’s Cabildo, Casimiro Curbelo, and his son Aday have once again been the protagonists of an incident with a complaint of aggression, as occurred in 2011, when he was a senator, at the exit of a sauna in Madrid.
This time the incident, according to Canarias Now, took place this Wednesday at the exit of a karaoke in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The events occurred at 04:30 in the morning, when the complainant, Miguel Q., who has a YouTube channel, approached the political leader, recording him with his cell phone, and asked him a series of questions about the alleged development of Puertito de Adeje, in Tenerife, and about the management of the public company Gesplan.
In the images you can see how Miguel Q. asks Curbelo at the karaoke exit if he can answer three questions. At first Curbelo says yes, but only one. The complainant asks him the first question and Curbelo replies that he “has no fucking idea” at the same time that he asks if he is recording it. Miguel Q. continues with the second question about Gesplan and “the beach bar they have set up” and that is when Curbelo refuses to answer, trying to cover the camera with his hand. Miguel Q. tells him that he stops recording him, but Curbelo begins to find it difficult. It is when Curbelo’s son, Aday Curbelo, is seen approaching the complainant, but without appreciating who is the person who hits him to which the complaint refers.
According to Canarias 7, Miguel Q. files the complaint for assault against pointing to Casimiro Curbelo and Aday as allegedly responsible for the altercation and with the complainant having lost his glasses, with suspicions that some of the people who were with Curbelo took them.
The injury report records a “superficial wound in the corner of the left lip, redness and volume increases in the cheekbone, neck and knees”.
According to what the complainant told Canarias Now, the son of the also deputy for La Gomera pulled his hair shouting “my father, no, my father, no”, while the alleged aggression began.
It is not the first time that Casimiro Curbelo and his son have been involved in an incident that ends with a complaint of assault. In 2011, when Curbelo was a senator, they ended up being arrested by the Police in a nightlife area in Madrid after being expelled from a sauna for inappropriate behavior. Father and son then went to a police station to report the premises and it was there that they ended up arrested for insulting the police officers and assaulting one of them
