Adina Town Hall Supports Sydney Families in Need Through Donation
SYDNEY – Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Town Hall is undergoing a major transformation, and as part of the refurbishment, preloved furniture and fixtures from the hotel’s apartments are being donated to the Sydney furniture rescue charity, ReLove, to assist those in need this winter.
The donated items, including furniture, artwork, mirrors, kitchen appliances, and even cleaning supplies, are being repurposed by ReLove to benefit families in need throughout Sydney. This initiative is part of TFE Hotels’ commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable practices.
TFE Hotels’ Group Chief Operating Officer, Chris Sedgwick, emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and supporting those facing crises. The collaboration with ReLove allows for the rescued items to find new homes and avoid ending up in landfills.
ReLove Co-founder, Ren Fernando, highlighted the impact of these donations on individuals affected by domestic violence, homelessness, and other challenging situations. The support from Adina Town Hall and TFE Hotels contributes to creating safe and welcoming environments for those in need.
The refurbishment of Adina Town Hall, led by designers Bates Smart, aims to provide a “home away from home” experience for guests, with a touch of casual elegance. The hotel is set to reopen in December 2024, offering a renewed experience for visitors.
