The week has finally ended, and it’s time to relax with some gaming. On Nintendo Life, we discussed Nintendo’s recent playtest secrecy, highlighted the latest eShop sales, and shared thoughts on various games like Fear the Spotlight and Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. It’s been quite a week for reviews in October!

As for our gaming plans this weekend, Ollie Reynolds, one of our staff writers, will be diving into Nintendo’s mysterious NSO playtest and reviewing Sonic X Shadow Generations. Jim Norman, another staff writer, is contemplating trying out a spooky game like Signalis or sticking to Luigi’s Mansion 3. He’s also enjoying The Plucky Squire as a post-spooky game tonic.

Kate Gray, a contributor, will be attending the FANTASTIC ARCADE in Austin, Texas, playing indie games like Multibowl and Dyebreaker. She just finished a game called No Case Should Remain Unsolved and is looking forward to playing Thank Goodness You’re Here. Gavin Lane, our editor, is considering playing something spooky like Alien: Isolation or Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, but he’s leaning towards Inside and continuing with the Playtest and Zelda.

Gonçalo Lopes, another contributor, is excited about playing BAKERU, Abathor, and Neva on Switch, along with games like Super XYX and Blazing Strike. He’s also planning to take advantage of the 150% bonus experience event in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II. His game of the week is Yakuza Kiwami, as he eagerly awaits more entries from the series on Switch.

So, that’s what our team has in store for the weekend. What about you? Share with us in the poll which games you’re looking forward to playing in the next few days. Let’s make it a gaming-filled weekend for everyone!
