At least one person has died and nine others have been injured after a shooting occurred at a party in the Californian town of San Bernardino, local authorities reported this Saturday.
The event occurred just before midnight on Friday at a party in that town, located 100 kilometers east of Los Angeles.
“Upon arrival, officers found a large concentration of people and were informed that they were in the area to celebrate a party,” San Bernardino police said in a statement to report on what happened.
The authorities indicate that the injured were quickly transferred to nearby medical centers, without detailing the seriousness of their condition. The police have opened an investigation to clarify the reasons for the shooting and reported that, for the time being, no arrests have been made.
