Four people have died in a shooting at a shopping center in Greenwood, Indiana (USA), in which a man killed three people with a rifle and wounded two others and was later killed by a civilian who was armed with a pistol.

As Jim Ison, police chief of this town located south of Indianapolis, explained at a press conference, the suspect, whose identity he did not provide, entered the shopping center with a rifle, went to the area where customers eat and began to shoot people.

A citizen who was in the center and who was armed with a pistol shot down and killed the suspect.

According to Ison, who at all times called the armed citizen who killed the shooter a “good Samaritan,” he explained that this person is “completely” collaborating with the authorities.

The two injured were taken to a hospital in the area.
