Adif has suspended the high-speed line between Madrid and Andalusia at 6:00 p.m. after a fire broke out near the tracks in the province of Ciudad Real, specifically in the section between Urda and Malagón.
This has been explained by a Renfe spokesman, who has indicated that this circumstance affects all the high-speed trains that link Madrid with Andalusia on the lines to Seville, Malaga and Granada.
At the moment, the trains that were already running are stopped at nearby stations, while those that should have left later have been cancelled.
Renfe is providing information inside the trains through public address systems and on-board staff, as well as at stations of origin where there are customers who may be affected.
