The Ibex Technical Advisory Committee has announced that Acciona Energía and Sacyr will join the Ibex 35 from June 20, replacing Almirall and CIE Automotive.

This has been decided at its ordinary meeting this Thursday in accordance with the technical standards for the composition and calculation of the Ibex and share strategy indices.

Acciona Energía will have an applicable coefficient of 20%, while Sacyr will have a coefficient of 100%. These are two of the companies, along with Logista, that are positioned as favorites to reach the Ibex 35.

Sacyr’s return to the selective takes place six years after his departure, in June 2016, when it was trading at 1.6 euros per share, compared to the 2.6 euros at which its shares currently mark, a revaluation of 62% along these years.

For its part, Acciona Energía debuted on the stock market less than a year ago, after placing 17.25% of its capital at a price of 26.73 euros, which represents a valuation of 8,800 million euros, being the largest outflow to Stock market in Spain since Cellnex in 2015, reports Europa Press.

In addition, the Ibex Committee has adopted the decision to modify the CaixaBank coefficient, which will go from 100% to 80%; from Rovi, from 60% to 80%, and from Siemens Gamesa, from 60% to 40%, due to changes in captive capital. The individual weighting of the securities will be adjusted to meet the 20% limit, the committee said in a statement.

As a result of these changes, the Ibex 35 Banks, the Ibex 35 Energy and the Ibex 35 Construction will also be modified.

These decisions will come into force as of June 20, so the adjustments in the indices will be made at the close of the session on June 17. In addition, the committee has announced the date of the next meeting, which will be on September 8.
