The president of the Principality, the socialist Adrián Barbón, has demanded this Saturday to put an end to “personal attacks, insults, threats or aggressions” after a Twitter user affirmed that he deserved to die soon.

In a note on this social network, Barbón has shown “what some of the political debate turns into” with a screenshot where a Twitter user has responded to his statements this Friday, where the president stated that in addition to being born in Laviana , would like, in the distant future, to die in his native town as well.

“I hope your wishes come true soon. You deserve it,” said a Twitter user whose comment Barbón shared to indicate that “this is what some turn into political debate: wishing the death of the president of Asturias, for example.” .

“Enough of personal attacks, insults, threats or aggression. Politics must be done with respect for the adversary. That’s how I do it. Respecting everyone,” he has sentenced.
