Filatov has a reproduction of the rocket that Tintin uses in the comic in which he travels to the Moon and a ticket to travel to space from Richard Branson and his company Virgin Galactic. When the war is over, he says, he will be one of the first space travelers, although he would be happy to give his seat to Vladimir Putin on the condition that the ship never return to Earth. “I’d pay a lot of money for that,” he jokes, with the only smile he will allow himself in this interview. “Ukrainians now toast twice. One to Ukraine’s victory. The other to the death of Vladimir Putin,” he says, gesturing with an imaginary glass.
