Finally scoring on Switch this November

So, Level-5 is making sure we don’t forget about Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and this time they’ve even dropped a new trailer. The game, which has been delayed multiple times, is set to hit Switch and Switch 2 on November 13th, and the latest trailer from Tokyo Game Show is here to give us all the deets.

Now, I gotta admit, the footage in this trailer doesn’t look all that different from what we’ve seen before. But hey, to be fair to Level-5, we’ve been waiting for this game for what feels like forever at this point. The new trailer is currently only in Japanese, with promises of English subtitles coming “at a later date.” But fear not, there’s still plenty of gameplay to feast your eyes on. We’re talking OTT training minigames, matches based on special abilities, and a nostalgic ‘Chronicle Mode’. And just when you thought that was all, they’ve thrown in some town-building-esque pitch customisation for good measure.

It’s been a long time coming, but I have to say, I’m kinda hyped for this game to finally drop in November. Let’s just hope they stick to this release date, right? Are you still pumped for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road? Hit up the comments and let us know.

So, Jim joined the Nintendo Life team back in 2022, and despite his controversial opinions on The Minish Cap and the Star Wars prequels, he’s been pumping out news and features like a champ. And hey, who am I to judge, right? To each their own, I guess. Anyway, back to the game. The trailer for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road may not bring anything groundbreaking to the table, but hey, at least we’re finally getting some more info on this long-awaited title. I mean, better late than never, am I right?

I’m not really sure why this game has been delayed so many times, but hey, maybe it’s just part of the whole gaming experience, you know? Sometimes things don’t go as planned, and we just gotta roll with the punches. But hey, at least we have this new trailer to hold us over until November rolls around. And who knows, maybe all these delays will make the game that much sweeter when it finally drops. Just a thought.

So, if you’re like me and you’ve been eagerly waiting for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road to hit the Switch, mark your calendars for November 13th. It’s been a long time coming, but hopefully, it’ll be worth the wait. And hey, if nothing else, at least we’ll have some cool minigames and pitch customisation to keep us entertained in the meantime. Let’s just hope Level-5 sticks to this release date, yeah? Fingers crossed.
