Reactivated a second investigation for fraud in the purchase of masks from the Madrid City Council. According to legal sources, the Investigating Court number 30 of Madrid has ordered this Monday the reopening of the proceedings related to the complaint for alleged fraud against the Sinclair and Wilde company, as a consequence “of the extension report dated April 12, 2022 , went to court and in which it was reported that the investigated, Philippe H. S., has his residence in England”.

The City Council led by José Luis Martínez-Almeida bought 2.5 million euros in 500,000 masks from the company Sinclair

The aforementioned complaint fell to the Court of Instruction number 30 of Madrid and was filed in 2020 due to the impossibility of locating Phillipe Haim Solomon, the CEO of the company. However, weeks ago the Police received information from their New York counterpart about the whereabouts of this man, which has led to the reopening of the case.

In the sole basis of the reopening order, the judge indicates that “in the face of a new clue about the possible whereabouts of the person who would have acted as an intermediary in the purchase operation, the reopening of the proceedings proceeds, and carry out new procedures aimed at clarifying of the facts, and the determination of their authors”.
