Have you completed the 50-hour story of Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth? How about the 100 hours of side content, including every Remnawave tower, combat assignment, and summon shrine, even the Odin one? If not, you’re in luck! Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is reportedly coming to PS Plus this month, allowing you to explore the original soldier love triangle that started it all.

According to a reliable French leaker billbil_kun, the remake of the 2008 PlayStation Portable prequel will be available on PS Plus for subscribers to the Extra tier and above. While the 2022 HD version may have its flaws and feel a bit rough compared to Rebirth, it still provides a decent vehicle for fans to delve into the original FFVII backstory and complete their gaming experience.

In addition to Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, billbil_kun also mentioned several other games that are set to join PS Plus Extra starting July 17. These include Remnant II, a hit loot shooter with soulsborne influences and engaging level and boss designs. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, a medieval strategy sim where players lead armies, battle rival kingdoms, and shape their destinies on sprawling battlefields combining high-level tactics and first-person action. The enhanced edition of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, an isometric RPG based on the tabletop game offering deep combat and rewarding role-playing experiences. No More Heroes 3 and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Complete Edition are also part of the upcoming lineup.

According to billbil_kun, Sony will reveal the rest of the PS Plus updates for July tomorrow. This announcement will also include information on which games will be leaving the service at the end of the month and whether there will be an expansion in the selection of classic games available. Fans are hopeful for more PS2 games to be added, with fingers crossed for titles like Suikoden III.

As gamers eagerly await the new additions to the PS Plus library, the opportunity to revisit classics and discover new adventures is always a welcome treat for subscribers. Stay tuned for the official announcement from Sony to see what other surprises are in store for PlayStation players this month.
