Koei Tecmo is all set to show some love for the Switch 2 this year, featuring some of its games. One of the highlights is the upcoming launch in July of Wild Hearts S, a monster hunting-style game that originally debuted on other platforms back in 2023. Now, this updated version for the Switch 2 comes with some gameplay tweaks, with the most notable being the increase in players from three to four for both local and online play. So, now you can team up with three other players to take down those monsters. Unfortunately, cross-platform multiplayer won’t be an option, but hey, at least you can still have a good time with your friends on the Switch 2.

In a recent upload on Koei Tecmo’s Japanese YouTube channel, they’ve given us a sneak peek at some four-player gameplay footage on the Switch 2 hardware. It shows off some intense monster battles and players chilling out at campsites. This should give you a taste of what to expect in terms of performance and gameplay on the new system.

Get ready to master ancient tech and hunt down massive beasts in a fantasy world inspired by feudal Japan with Wild Hearts S! You can team up with up to four players in seamless co-op or go solo as you take on fearsome monsters empowered by the wild forces of nature. Customize your hunting grounds and gear, gear up for the hunt, and then face off against these colossal creatures in a world gone wild.
