We are just a few months away from the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in theaters on December 20. While Paramount has been keeping details under wraps, there have been a couple of merchandise leaks that have given fans a sneak peek at Shadow.
One leak includes an image of a figure that will be available in toy stores closer to the movie’s launch. Another leak reveals a popcorn bucket featuring Shadow, Sonic, and Knuckles. Although Shadow is barely visible in the image, it has sparked excitement among fans eager to see more of the character in the upcoming film.
Shadow made his live-action debut in the post-credits scene of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, but most of the public hasn’t seen him in action yet due to the lack of a trailer from Paramount. The leaks of the merchandise have provided a small glimpse into what Shadow might look like in the movie, increasing anticipation among fans.
In addition to the movie, Sega is celebrating the Year of Shadow with various projects, including the upcoming Sonic X Shadow Generations game.
