Devolver Digital has announced that the indie game Neva will be getting a physical release for the Nintendo Switch on March 14, 2025. Pre-orders are currently available on various platforms including Amazon. The physical release will come in two versions – a standard edition with a game cartridge and a deluxe edition that includes a collector’s box, an artbook, and an original soundtrack CD.
Neva is a platformer game created by the same developers behind the award-winning title GRIS. In a review by Nintendo Life, the game received an impressive rating of 9 out of 10 stars and was described as a “raw, engrossing platformer that looks incredible”. Many reviews have praised Neva as a “masterpiece” and even suggested it could be a strong contender for game of the year.
The game follows the story of Alba, a young woman who forms a bond with a wolf cub after facing dark forces. Together, they navigate through a deteriorating world, facing increasing dangers. As their relationship evolves, they learn to support each other and overcome challenges. The wolf grows from a rebellious cub to a mature adult, testing the strength of their bond as they strive to survive and create a new home in the cursed world.
